The British Cartographic Society has been running an annual awards programme for over 50 years. There are several categories each year covering paper maps, atlases, digital map products and digital map solutions, as well as journal articles and childrens mapping. Each year the judges select an overall winner which recieves the prestigous British Cartographic Society Award.
